Steven's Unit arrived safely, they are getting themselves together, figuring out their situations etc. Their command keeps fairly well informed. Some parents, spouses, and siblings are upset because our soldiers are in very few pictures, but others seem to be in every single shot or close to it. You can check out the albums on the Units website, it's public.
Steven was able to call me and we talked for 4 minutes and 38 seconds,, I'll take what I can get I guess. It was wonderful hearing his voice, he sounded older, he said he has his moments but that he is ok. I was able to give him an idea of what is happening here, with his grandad, me, family,, we sure miss and love him.
We can't publish addresses on FB obviously, but we can provide it to friends who want to write or send packages, I can give you hints on what to send :) just drop me a line.
